Firefighters control field fire
The Idaho Falls Fire Department was called to a field just north of Sage Lakes Golf Course at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Firefighters were able to control the it quickly. They said it appears to have started in or around an old utility trailer. The fire burned above five acres of brush, the trailer and some farm implements.
There were no injuries.
The Fire Department reminds everyone that hot weather has created dangerous fire danger and even the smallest of sparks can ignite a fire.
