3.2 earthquake reported near Challis

An earthquake shook the Challis area Friday morning.

A 3.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 10:02 a.m. local time, according to the USGS.The epicenter of the quake was about 12 miles NNE of Challis.

This earthquake follows a series of earthquakes that have happened up into Montana, just northwest of Bozeman.

No damage has been reported.
