PERU, N.Y. (WPTZ) — Every year, the Nolette family of Peru sets the stage for Halloween with a different, captivating theme for their decorations. However, this year’s theme leaves no “Blank Space” in expressing their unwavering love for Taylor Swift.

Swifties, the devoted fans of the Grammy-award-winning artist, are in for an enchanting treat at this haunting spectacle.

For the past three years, Heather Nolette, the homeowner, has been known for her exceptional Halloween decorations, but this year, she decided to devote the theme to her family’s favorite singer, Taylor Swift.

“My four daughters and I have been to every concert except for ‘Lover,’ of course, because that was during COVID. So, since my girls were very young, we have always been Swifties. We attended her concert this year at Gillette Stadium, and we tried to take some of those ideas and bring them here for everyone to enjoy,” said Heather Nolette.

Fans of Taylor Swift, from her “Debut” to her “Reputation” era, are flocking to Fuller Road to experience the full “Swiftie” immersion.

“I had never met Heather, and when I came, she gave me a disco ball and friendship bracelets. It makes it feel like your family. And you get to experience everything Taylor,” said Melissa McShane, a dedicated Swiftie from Peru.

Heather’s enthusiasm for Swift has even attracted some of her neighbors to join in the fun.

“Having everybody together, everybody’s friendly, no fighting, no arguing. You can’t beat it. You can’t beat it,” shared Leeward Lamoy, one of Heather’s neighbors.

In a world filled with challenges, Heather believes that having these decorations for people to enjoy couldn’t have come at a more important time.

“Right now, the world is kind of in this spot where there’s a little bit of sadness all around, so why not bring a little bit of happiness? So that was the whole point of kind of bringing the Swiftie style, Swiftie way model to everyone in the community,” Heather Nolette said.

The Nolettes are already planning to continue this exciting tradition for future spooky seasons, promising more delightful surprises for their fellow Swifties and the entire community.
