LAVA HOT SPRINGS: Fireworks and Great American Duck Race

LAVA HOT SPRINGS, Idaho (KIFI) - Lava Hot Springs is inviting the community to celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks and a fun tradition on the river. The Lava 4th of July Fireworks and Great American Duck Race takes place Friday at 8 p.m. at the Lava Hot Springs Senior Community Center.

Festivities include a spectacular fireworks show and the popular duck race, which helps support the fireworks display. Community members can purchase ducks for a chance to win prizes while helping fund the celebration.

Ducks will be dropped into the river at the 3rd Avenue bridge at 8 p.m. and will finish near the Lava Hot Springs Senior Community Center, located at 150 N. Center Street. Organizers encourage everyone to come early, cheer on their ducks, and enjoy an evening of Fourth of July fun.
