Three Boys Suspected Of Vandalizing Golf Course

Three young boys are being charged with vandalizing and burglarizing Sage Lake Golf Course and homes in Fairway Estates.

Idaho Falls police said the boys, ages 12 and 13, are believed to have caused thousands of dollars in damage.

Police reports said the boys are responsible for breaking sprinkler heads, damaging signs and golf course greens and throwing equipment and property into the golf course pond.

The reports said the boys also broke into a home and stole a watch, knife, beer and a cigar. The report also said the boys poked holes in the walls with a knife.

The incidents took place over the last two months, police reported.

The three boys have been referred to juvenile court. The case remains under investigation, police said.
