Rupe’s Burgers Featured In Newspaper, Book

Local restaurant Rupe’s Burgers was featured in Friday’s edition of USA Today.

The Blackfoot restaurant is also in a new book called “Off the Eaten Path.” The author, Morgan Murphy, shared some of his favorite family-owned restaurants in the nation with USA Today.

Murphy was impressed by Rupe’s baked potatoes with real cheddar cheese… and the milkshakes.

Tyler Rupe, co-owner of Rupe’s, said he was surprised to be part of the book and in the national newspaper.

He said they’re already seeing new customers, “A lot of out of state customers have been coming in all day long who have read the article, something great.”

Rupe also said his family is opening up a new sports grill in October.
