Police Search For Jewel Thief

Idaho Falls police said they are looking for the person who entered a home in the mid-morning Monday through a window and stole some jewelry.

The victim said the man had short dark hair and was wearing a long black T-shirt and dark jeans.

According to the police report, police were called to the 100 block of Sixth Street around 11 a.m. for a report of a burglary. The victim told police that the thief entered through a window and took an unknown amount of bracelets and necklace pendants from a bedroom.

The man then left through the same window, police said. The victim said she heard the man in the bedroom and went to investigate but he already left, police said, she looked out the window and saw him running across the neighbor?s yard.
