BLM: Drive-In Fire Will Be 100 Percent Contained By 9 PM

Firefighters in Pocatello seem to be winning the battle against the Drive-In Fire.

Bureau of Land Management officials said fire crews will have the wildfire 100 percent contained by 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Once that’s done, it’s just a matter of mopping up any hot spots left in the area the fire has already burned.

The Sheriff’s Office suspects the 1,275 acre fire was started by a group of pre-teens.

The Bannock County prosecutors will decide if any action will be taken against the kids after reviewing the sheriff’s report.
