Victor Mayor Resigns
The city of Victor will be electing a new mayor this fall after Mayor Scott Fitzgerald submitted a letter of resignation last week.
Fitzgerald was elected in November 2009 to a four-year term after serving as a City Council member for two years.
Fitzgerald said he is leaving to attend to personal responsibilities with his business and family.
The resignation is effective Sept. 30.
