TRAFFIC ALERT: South Rigby Exit To Close For Construction

The south Rigby exit (Exit 320) on northbound U.S. 20 will close during the day Tuesday through Thursday this week (Aug. 23-25) for bridge construction, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

During closures, northbound and southbound traffic can access Rigby from Exit 322 in north Rigby.

The transportation department will close Exit 320 from approximately 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Tuesday and from approximately 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

Crews will blast the surface of the U.S. 20 overpass north of the exit and overlay it with epoxy resin and crushed rock, finishing a new layer of concrete placed on the bridge deck last year.

Motorists should proceed cautiously through construction zone and watch for merging traffic, workers and equipment.
