The Idaho Falls Police Department is reminding the public to expect traffic delays and congestion in areas surrounding Melaleuca Field during the Josh Turner concert on Thursday.
Thousands of concert goers are attending and the police department will be closing Jefferson Street between Elva and Temple Place starting at 4:30 p.m.
For those attending the concert, the police are advising people to carpool or take advantage of the free shuttle service as parking will be very limited.
The shuttle service will pick up concert goers at the old Ernst parking lot on West Broadway starting at 5:30 p.m. It will drop people off at Civitan Park. Nine buses will be continually running back and forth between Civitan Park and the Ernst Building.
