Fire Burns Home, Car In Bonneville County
A fire that burned part of a house, shed, trailer and a car may have started by kids playing with matches or a lighter, firefighters said.
Fire crews contained the grass fire near 9850 North 85th East Wednesday night around 7:00.
Division Chief Rick Taylor said the fire started in brush and wild sage, then quickly spread to the house and other buildings. Firefighters were able to contain it mostly to the attic area. The fire did spread to grass and was contained to a couple acres. The total damage is estimated to be $15,000.
No injuries were reported.
