Hannah Hansen

It’s that time of year again when we begin to honor local seniors with the United Dairymen of Idaho Distinguished Student Award. This year?s first recipient is Snake River?s Hannah Hansen.

Hannah is a smart, talented young lady. When it comes to performing Hannah likes doing it all.

“I am a dancer,: Hannah says. ?I dance at Downtown Dance and I’ve been doing that my whole life. And I like to sing and act.?

Last semester Hannah played the leading role of Mabel in ?Pirates of Penzance.?

“It?s just thrilling to me, I love being in front of people and entertaining people,” Hannah says.

Throughout high school Hannah has managed to get perfect grades. She says it just takes commitment.

“I just try to make school a priority,? Hannah says. ? I think a lot of kids think it’s not a big deal to not do their homework some nights, but I think it’s really important to get your homework done every night because it gives you a lot better chance of getting good grades.”

Hannah recommends getting involved in lots of activities in high school, and there’s one other piece of advice she says will make high school more fun.

“I think it’s really important to be friendly and be nice to everyone,? Hannah says.
