Former American Falls Teacher Pleads Not Guilty In Sex Case

A former American Falls High School teacher has pleaded not guilty to a charge of felony sexual battery of a minor.

Prosecutors say 23-year-old Zenna Galeria had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student during the last school year. She worked as a teacher and volleyball coach for the school until she was let go in July.

The Idaho State Journal (http://bit.ly/nnqo0h ) reports she entered the not guilty plea in Power County’s Magistrate Court on Thursday.

The felony charge carries a maximum penalty of up to life in prison.
