Small Fires Break Out Alongside Highway 20
A string of small fires broke out along Highway 20 at the same time on Friday morning.
Three small fires started between 11:30 and 11:45 a.m. along the South-bound side of Highway 20 at mile markers 313, 316.5, and 317. That’s between the Ucon and Hitt Road exits.
Crews had the flames knocked down by 12:20 p.m.
State Police said they don’t know how the fires started, or if there’s any link between them.
