Chemical Spill Evacuates Research Building
A building on Technology Drive in Idaho Falls was evacuated after a chemical spill occurred inside.
Emergency personnel said that one of the work bays at the building is rented by Idaho State University’s research team and were doing an experiment when the spill happened.
An odor was released in the area and our reporter said it could be smelled outside.
Five people were sent to the Willow Creek Medical office nearby to be checked out.
No injuries have been reported.
