District 91 Taking Applications For Magnet High School

Idaho Falls School District 91 is now taking applications for students interested in attending the new magnet high school next fall.

The school will be part of the national New Tech Network, which has a strong emphasis on project-based learning and technology.

There are slots for 150 incoming freshman and 150 incoming sophomores. If more students apply than there are openings available, there will be a lottery Feb. 3.

The magnet school means a lot of other changes throughout the district.

To learn more, parents are invited to meetings next week: Monday, 7 p.m. at Clair E. Gale. Tuesday, 7p.m. at Eagle Rock. Wednesday, 7 p.m. at Taylorview.

There will be a meeting specifically about the new magnet school on Wednesday, Jan. 25th at Clair E. Gale.
