Winners Announced In Dancing With The Idaho Falls Stars

The fourth annual Dancing with the Idaho Falls Stars raised more than $15,000 for the American Cancer Society?s Relay for Life on Wednesday.

More than 300 people came out to watch 12 local business leaders and their partners from Extreme Ballroom Dance Company perform a variety of dances, then vote for their favorite dancer using their donations.

Liza Leonard of Snake River Landing took first place, raising $5,326, Cindy Jones of Cargill took second place, raising $2,922 and Michelle Ziel of Eastern Idaho Technical College Foundation took third place, raising $2,679.

?We vow to continue to utilize these funds in our community for American Cancer Society programs that better the lives of those affected by cancer. Thank you to our generous community for your continued support of this event ? we are saving lives faster with your help,? said Ziel, an event coordinator, in a news release.
