Man Detained For Suspicious Behavior After Home Invasions
An Idaho Falls community is on edge after police detained a suspicious man Wednesday.
It?s the same neighborhood police have been watching after a series of night home invasions last week.
Police say they received several 911 calls early Wednesday afternoon reporting a suspicious person in west Idaho Falls.
It all started when a woman, home alone with her baby at a house on Rendezvous Road, called 911 to report a man she said knocked on her front door, put his ear to the door and was acting generally suspicious.

Police responded and got other reports of a man running through the neighborhood and hiding in backyards.
Police caught up with the man and had him briefly in handcuffs, but he refused to voluntarily give police any fingerprints.
“We did stop that person, we did talk to them to see if there was anything. At this point we didn’t have anything to hold them on,” said Joelyn Hansen, spokeswoman for the police department.
He was returned to his residence at an address in the neighborhood.
The name of the man is not being released as he is not being charged with anything at this time.
