Drivers Would Be Allowed To Speed Under Wyo. Bill

Drivers could legally go over posted speed limits to pass slowpokes under a bill making its way through the Wyoming legislature.

According to the Wyoming Tribune Eagle, the bill applies only to two-lane roads with two-way traffic. The posted limit must be 50 miles an hour or higher and the slow vehicle must be going below the posted speed limit.

The House Transportation, Highways and Military Affairs Committee gave its approval 7-2 on Thursday. It now goes to the House floor.
