$8K In Prescription Drugs Stolen From Driggs Pharmacy

The Teton County Sheriff’s Office wants the public?s help in identifying those responsible for a burglary at Corner Drug in Driggs at about 6 a.m. Friday.

As they responded to an alarm, deputies said, they found a door to an adjoining business was open. They discovered a large amount of prescription, Schedule 2 narcotics were missing, including Methadone, Ritalin and Oxycodone.

Surveillance footage shows a suspect wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, sweat pants, ski mask and gloves. An eyewitness saw the subject leaving the area of Corner Drug behind the Driggs City Building.

The Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that the thief knew exactly what he was looking for. The value of the medication was estimated at almost $8,000. The drugs stolen were in generic, white bottles instead of standard prescription bottles.
