Idaho Falls Woman Charged With Forgery
Police arrested Marlana Lee Loveland on a Bonneville County warrant charging her with two counts of forgery Tuesday. The warrant stemmed from an identity theft investigation.
On March 15, 12 Idaho Falls detectives began investigating an identity theft in which a Green River, Wyo., resident was the victim. Loveland was a friend of the victim and resides in Idaho Falls.
Police said Loveland used the victim?s personal identification to obtain credit cards in the victim?s name, which she later made purchases with. She also used the victim?s ID to buy a 2006 Kia Sorento valued at more than $12,000, said police.
The car was later recovered and returned to the loan company.
Loveland was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
