Fremont Co. Man Sentenced For Lewd Conduct
A Fremont County man sits in jail after a judge found him guilty of lewd conduct with a child on Tuesday.
Charles Housley, the defendant in the case, was sentenced with up to 15 years in the Idaho state penitentiary for events that happened eight years ago with a child in his care.
Housely was found, through a psycho-sexual evaluation, to still be a medium-to-high threat to the community.
The prosecutor in the case, Joette Lookbaugh said Housley isn’t what he appears to be.
“There’s two sides to this guy. There’s 15 letters saying he’s the nicest guy in the world and if you look at him in court you might get that same impression. However, there’s a dark side,” said Lookbaugh.
Prosecutors said Housley has a history of exposing himself in public.
