Man Breaks Into Pocatello Businesses With Hammer

A burglar got inside two businesses in Pocatello by throwing a hammer through doors, said police.

At about 2 a.m. Monday, the man entered Lowes at 650 Bullock Street and walked toward the cash register. He fled as soon as the interior alarm sounded.

The man is described as a white male in mid or late 30s, wearing a dark beanie hat, dark blue jacket, blue jeans, black gloves and blue/gray tennis shoes.

Police said about two hours later, the same person threw a hammer through the door at K&B Kwik Stop at 2445 South Fifth. He entered the business and took several items, then left in a silver four-door car.

If you recognize the man in accompanying video, call the Pocatello Police Department at 234-6121.
