Four Brothers Earn Eagles Together

Four Rexburg brothers have made a very uncommon achievement. They all received their Eagle Scout Awards Tuesday night.

The Dutson brothers range in age from 13-18.

Becoming an Eagle Scout takes years of hard work, including earning merit badges and organizing service projects.

The boys say it is all worth it and it’s helped them become better people.

John, Spencer, Chris and Andrew credit their parents for setting a good example. In fact, their father has his Eagle Scout Award and so do all of his four brothers!

“Our parents have kind of been pushing us sometimes when we really didn’t want to keep working. It’s something we’ve all wanted to do since we started scouting,” said Chris and John.

The Dutson family has two younger boys who are also looking forward to earning their Eagle Scout Awards.
