Local Nursing Home Placed On Notice For Non-Compliance
Correction: No license was revoked by the state at Idaho Falls Care and Rehabilitation Center as reported earlier. The facility was placed on notice for not complying with requirements for participation in the Medicare/Medicare programs by the Idaho Bureau of Facility Standards.
Administrators say the center has submitted a plan of correction, which has been accepted by the bureau. Officials say the center is currently awaiting a follow-up inspection by the state to validate the corrections.
In their released statement, administrators say the center will continue to maintain normal operations and provide care for patients.
The notice stated the non-compliance was established during the January 26, 2012 survey.
