Early Morning Bomb Threat

Police responded to both Walmarts in Bonneville County just before 12:30 A.M. Friday morning over a Bomb Threat.

Both the Walmarts in Ammon and Idaho Falls were evacuated just moments after a call came into the Bonneville County Jail House.

Police say a male voice said, “A bomb is being dropped off at Walmart”, the caller then immediately hung up the phone.

Bonneville County Dispatch says after searching both Walmarts nothing suspicious was found.

The whole situation lasted about an hour before employees were given the all clear to re-enter the building.
