Pocatello stabbing investigation continues

Pocatello police are continuing their investigation into the stabbing of a 47 year old Pocatello woman early Thursday morning. Portneuf Medical Center Emergency Room personnel reported the serious cut to the woman’s neck at 1:56 am.

Lieutenant Paul Manning said initial investigation indicated the incident happened at 845 Barton Road. A search warrant at that residence Thursday netted evidence and led to the identification of a person of interest. But, police have not released any additional information.
