Montana man killed in Sand Dunes motorcycle crash
A 37 year old Montana man has died from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle crash in the BLM Sand Dune area at 11 pm Friday. The Fremont County Sheriffs Department says Robert Ostrander of Three Forks, Montana had been jumping his motorcycle in the Idaho Dunes Campground when he crashed the bike.
Ostrander was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center by Air Idaho Helicopter. Due to the extent of his injuries, officials at EIRMC stated Ostrander did not survive surgery and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
