Main Street Buzz: Idaho Tactical Games

With the scorching temperatures, a lot of people are opting to stay indoors.

But for those who live for the outdoor activities — that’s a tall order.

In today’s Main Street Buzz, we take paintballing and airsoft indoors.

“It’s a good one, it’s a close-quarters combat,” Joe Leaser said.

“I really love this because it’s tight and you can really have really fast paced games,” said Blaze Mala.

Really fast. After a couple of minutes of crackling, the last man is out.

Idaho Tactical Games is the first indoor=combat arena in the area, creating a common ground for those who love the sport and typically find each other through social media.

“Now we have somewhere to come in a central location,” said Mala. “We have people from Idaho Falls, Rexburg and Pocatello.”

There’s more than 4,000 square feet to attack your enemies but come back in a few months, and the course could look completely different.

“You can’t play in the snow — it’s a little too cold. I think it’ll be good in the wintertime, a place we can come spend part of the day. It’ll be good,” said Leaser.

From the experts to rookies, everyone is welcome to give it a shot.

As for those worried about the pain, the guys promise it’s not too bad.

“I’d describe it like if your grandma comes and pinches the back of your arm,” said Mala.

Idaho Tactical Games is open six days a week.

It has all the equipment to rent, or you can bring your own.

For those who don’t like actually getting shot, there’s also laser tag.
