Man dies in Fort Hall crash

A Fort Hall man is dead after succumbing to injuries from a rollover accident early Saturday morning, the Idaho State Police said in a press release.

Kendall Perry, 21, of Blackfoot, was driving a 1999 GMC Yukon south on Philbin Road at about 1:10 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of the SUV, running off the road and rolling into a field near the intersection of Sheepskin Road and Philbin Road.

The rollover threw Perry and his passengers, Danae Jimmie, 20, of Blackfoot, and Cullen Fights Over, 19, of Fort Hall, from the SUV, police said.

Jimmie and Fights Over were transported to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries, but Fights Over later succumbed to his injuries at Portneuf Medical Center.

Police said no one in the SUV was wearing a seat belt, and they believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

Next of kin has been notified. Fort Hall Police will handle any charges related to the crash.
