3 teens arrested in car burglaries

Three teenagers were arrested Monday morning after police said they broke into numerous vehicles.

Yukon Jack, 18, was booked into Bonneville County for two counts of vehicle burglary. Patrick Steele, 18, was booked into Bonneville County Jail for two counts of accessory to vehicle burglary. Zachary Burkholder, 19, was booked into the Bonneville County Jail for three counts of burglary. All three men are from Idaho Falls.

Officers responded to the area of Bannock Avenue and West Shelley Street around 1:20 a.m. for a report of three suspicious men looking into cars. Jack, Steele and Burkholder matched the description given by witnesses.

During their investigation, police found stolen property within their possession, including digital cameras, MP3 players and a GPS unit.

Police determined the men committed numerous burglaries between Walgreens at 17th Street and Holmes Avenue, and Shelley Street and Blaine Avenue.
