Golf cart runs over boy’s neck
A Rexburg boy is recovering from neck injuries after a golf cart ran over his neck Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the 7-year-old was riding on the front of the cart looking for golf balls on the Rexburg Municipal Golf Course when he jumped off to retrieve them before the cart was fully stopped.
He was run over by the right front tire.
The boy was taken to Madison Memorial Hospital for treatment of neck pain.
