Small plane crashes in Bingham County

A pilot and a passenger from the AV Center in Pocatello had a tough landing Monday morning.

The Bingham County Sheriff’s Office said the plane engine started sputtering. The pilot tried to make it to the Rockford Airport, but didn’t quite get there.

They landed in a grain field, and the small plane flipped over.

No one was seriously hurt in the crash.
