Aberdeen man killed in rollover

An Aberdeen man was killed early Saturday morning in an accident on Highway 39.
Idaho State Police said Gabriel Gonzalez-Rivas, 28, was ejected from his 1999 Land Rover and killed just north of the Bingham and Power County line.
Police said Gonzalez-Rivas attempted to pass another vehicle and somehow went off the left side of the road and overcorrected, rolling the SUV.
His passenger, Pedro Gonzalez-Serna, 33, was flown to Portneuf Medical Center and listed in critical condition, troopers said.
The two were not wearing their seatbelts and believe alcohol and speed are a factor to the crash, police said.
Idaho State Police are still investigating the crash.
