Idaho Falls men held after attempted burglary

Two men found hiding in nearby bushes were arrested Wednesday night in the attempted burglary of a utility trailer.

Officers were called to the 500 block of L Street around 8:30 p.m. after they say a victim caught the two men trying to break into his locked trailer.

Police found the two, identified as Dale Francis Orthoefer, 51, and Kirk Allen Huff, 49, after they said they ran from the scene.

The two were being held in the Bonneville County jail.
