Idaho State Police harvests $7.3 million marijuana crop

Acting on an anonymous tip, Idaho State Police Wednesday night used aerial support to local 12 marijuana grow sites in a Gooding County corn field. Detectives said they pulled up 3,684 plants with an estimated street value of over $7 million.

Detectives seized an additional 500 plants Thursday. The estimated street value now exceeds $7.3 million.

ISP officials said their investigation is continuing. No arrests were announced.

Detectives ask that anyone with information about similar grow sites report them to their nearest State Police office.
