Website dedicated to land recovery after Charlotte Fire

The city of Pocatello announced Thursday that it has a website dedicated to the recovery of the land affected by the Charlotte Fire.

The Charlotte Fire Recovery & Garden Project is in response to the Charlotte Fire, which ripped through a Pocatello neighborhood in June, destroying 66 homes.

The site is dedicated to revegetation and landscaping of property destroyed by the blaze. It also contains links to information on wildfire recovery tips provided by the Natural Resources Conservation Service, as well as cleanup guidelines, local resources for revegetation supplies and information on the community’s efforts to restore the land.

The website is http://www.pocatello.us/se/charlottefire.htm.
