FBI wants your help to find bank robber

The FBI is asking the public’s help in identifying a man who has robbed at least five banks nationwide, including one in Pocatello.

During each robbery, the lone man enters the bank, approaches the teller and presents a demand note.

He has been known to carry a black, zippered portfolio. He has been described as a white man in his 50s. He is normally seen wearing jeans and a blue polo shirt or blue T-shirt. He is 5’6″ to 6 feet tall with a thin build and has a mustache and wears glasses, the FBI said.

In addition to the Ireland Bank in Pocatello, the robber has hit banks in the Western and Southern U.S., including Arvada, Colo., Flagstaff, Ariz.,Roy, Utah and Winston-Salem, N.C.

The robberies started on June 21 in Arvada. He hit Pocatello on July 7. His most recent robbery was in Winston-Salem on July 20, during which he was seen with a black compact SUV with a silver rack on top.
