Teacher dies in Victor crash

The Teton County, Idaho, Sheriff’s Office said a teacher died in a single-car rollover Thursday night.

The driver, Matt Jenkins, 27, was ejected from the vehicle. The accident happened shortly before 11 p.m. at milepost 18 on Highway 31 in Victor.

Jenkins was life-flighted to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Jenkins, of Washington state, was in the area as a teacher at the Teton Science School in Jackson, Wyo, according to a news release.
The sheriff’s office and Idaho State Police are still investigating the accident.
