“30 Days, 30 Questions” No. 24

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho — Sports Line continued its “30 Days, 30 Questions” segment Tuesday night with the answer to question No. 24.

“Can Snake River repeat as 3A state champions?”

Quarterback Wyatt Wray returns for his senior season along with one of his favorite targets, wide out Brett Parkinson. These two connected several times for touchdowns last season as Snake River put up 38.2 points per game in the Panthers’ nine victories. In the playoffs, Snake River upped that number to 43 points a game.

However, Snake River will have a target on their backs as defenses circle their schedules for that game. That could put a lot of pressure on the Panthers to score points.

If Snake River can make it back to the championship game, they might have to go through Fruitland because the Grizzlies have been to the title game four straight years. That means would could see a Fruitland-Snake River match up for the third year in a row.

“30 Days, 30 Questions” continues every night until kick off August 24.
