Woman jailed after car crash

A one-car crash in Idaho Falls sent the passenger to the hospital and then to jail.

Officers responded to the 900 block of Northgate Mile around 1:10 a.m. for a report of a hit-and-run accident.

Police said Shawnna E. Cline, 25, and her husband were driving home Sunday morning from a concert at the Peppertree when they got into an argument. Cline shoved her husband, the driver, and then jerked the steering wheel, causing the Chevy Blazer to hit a concrete retaining wall, police said.

Cline received a cut to the head in the crash. She was treated and released from the hospital for the injury before being booked into the jail on a charge of domestic aggravated assault.

Police said her husband was wearing a seat belt and was not hurt. They did not say whether Cline was wearing a seat belt.
