Man robs Pocatello Pita Pit

Pocatello police are looking for a man who stole an undisclosed amount of money from a restaurant and fled on foot.

A Pita Pit employee said a man entered the business as it was closing at around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday and hid inside.

When he was spotted by a worker and confronted, the man opened a cash drawer, grabbed the money and fled the business.

Officers searched the area around 1799 Hurley Drive but could not locate the suspect. He is described as 5′ 8″ tall, slim build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a yellowbandannaover his face. Only his eyes were showing. The man was also wearing black Dickies pants, “skater-type” or Enties shoes, and black and white BMX style gloves.

Anyone with information about the man should contact Pocatello police detectives at (208) 234-6121.
