Pocatello couple found safe in Fremont County backcountry
A Pocatello couple are safe after spending the night in the Yale Creek backcountry.
About 24 Fremont County Search and Rescue volunteers were called to look for the couple at 6:40 p.m Sunday. According to the Fremont County Sheriff’s office, a private helicopter from Belgrade, Mont., was called in to assist in the search Monday.
The un-named couple were found safe and unharmed at around 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Ray’s Peak area near the Yale-Kilgore Road.
