Window broken at Pocatello jewelry store

Someone smashed a window at Jensen’s Jewelers in Pocatello early Wednesday morning, but what the culprit was after is unclear.

Pocatello police said they responded to the store at 1875 Hurley Drive because an alarm had been activated around 1:50 a.m. When they arrived, they saw the front window had been broken out with a small sledgehammer.

An employee told police it appeared nothing of value was taken.
