Man cited after snow-related argument

A fight over clearing snow escalated over the weekend in Rexburg.

Jonathon Cliff, 31, is facing a battery charge after police said he attacked a person with an ice scraper. Police said the victim was frustrated with Cliff for parking on the sidewalk at Village Apartments, which made it hard to clear the snow. According to police, the victim was blowing snow, and some went onto Cliff’s vehicle.

Police said an argument ensued, ending with Cliff hitting the victim in the crotch and back of the head with an ice scraper.
