Pocatello hotel fire put out

A fire burned at the CottonTree Inn in Pocatello before noon Wednesday.

The fire happened on the second floor and was contained to one room. Cleaning workers noticed smoke.

There were flames when firefighters arrived. The fire was put out 30 minutes later, fire officials said.

Hotel guests were evacuated, and there were no injuries in the fire. The cause is under investigation.
