Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce begins food drive

Businesses across Idaho Falls are teaming up to fight hunger.

The Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce is launching its first food drive.

Businesses and individuals alike are encouraged to donate nonperishable food items throughout the month of March.

Chamber CEO Robb Chiles expects that come April, there will be plenty of food to give to the Idaho Food Bank.

“We just think it’s our duty, as the business community, to help out,” Chiles said. “We’re very happy to try and do our part, in terms of helping those that are in need.”

Donations can be brought to any chamber event, or to the Chamber of Commerce building at the intersection of Capital Avenue and A Street.
