Eugene Ballet Company, Idaho Falls Symphony present Swan Lake

For the first time ever, the Idaho Falls Symphony will host the Eugene Ballet Company for a performance of Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake Ballet” Friday night.

Dancers said Swan Lake is the story of rivalry for love that audience members of all ages can enjoy.

The Eugene Ballet Company works with the Idaho Falls Symphony often and travels to Idaho Falls to put on productions every year.

Both the dancers and the musicians said bringing the arts to Eastern Idaho through their performances and education outreach programs is a beautiful thing.

“It’s just really great to know that you’re inspiring the love of the arts and dance in young kids,” said Heather Wallace, Principal Dancer.

“Last night the dress rehearsal was incredibly encouraging,” said Thomas Heuser, Musical Director. “The orchestra is sounding really good and we’re poised to have a great show tonight .”

The performance begins Friday night at 7:30 at the Civic Auditorium in Idaho Falls.

Tickets are available at the door.

There will be a pre-concert discussion with Maestro Heuser just before the performance at 6:30.
