Teton Valley school board rejects four-day school week

The Teton School Board in Driggs has rejected a proposal to adopt a four day school week.

Instead, Superintendent Monte Woolstenhume said the district will develop other options to make budget cuts for the next school year.

School board trustees conducted several months of research into how the four-day schedule worked in other school systems in Idaho. The final decision came after an hour of public comments and a review of feedback from staff, principals and the superintendent Monday night.
